Terms of service

Last updated October 7, 2026

These terms cover your use of Refract, a tool for writing and planning posts for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Refract is run by [your name or business name] (“we”). By using Refract you agree to these terms. Contact: refract.creators@gmail.com.

Using Refract

You can use the writing tools without an account. Some features, such as AI video analysis, need a free account. Give accurate details when you sign up, keep your password safe, and don’t share your account.

Your content

Your ideas, videos, and posts belong to you. You give us permission to process them only to run Refract for you, for example to send still frames to the AI and show you the results. Only analyze or import content that you own or have permission to use, and follow the rules of the platforms you post on.

AI results

AI results are drafts. They can be wrong, incomplete, or not right for your audience. Check them before you post. You’re responsible for what you publish.

Acceptable use

Free plan and limits

The free plan includes unlimited writing tools and a daily allowance of AI video analyses. Limits may change. If they get smaller, we’ll show the new limits in the app before they apply.

Pro subscriptions

Changes and availability

We work to keep Refract running smoothly but can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop features. If we stop Pro, we’ll refund any unused part of a paid period.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. If we do, we’ll tell you why when we can.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Refract is provided “as is”, and we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for more than the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date at the top changes too. If a change matters, we’ll tell signed-in users before it takes effect.
